Thing #8 Online Apps

Completed Thing #8. Sounds interesting and could be very useful but really very technical and probably would be something I would think twice about getting into.

Thing #9---I like this and would be tempted to look into some of the courses offered. It's always fun to try and hopefully one is never to old to learn.

Thing #10....This has been a great learning experience for me.

I need to get some instruction on pursing this Thing #7. Lynn has promised help.

Instant Messaging

Instant Messaging has its pros and cons. It can be fun, but time consuming especially if you are searching the Net for some specific "things" and someone else has the time to have a friendly conversation. I do like to hear from relatives and friends, but at times an e-mail would be the "way to go". I hope if I instigate the instant message the person I contact will let me know they do not have time at that moment

Podcasting and Video sharing

Haven't had much of a chance to view the above, but am looking forward to trying it out. I need to spend some time exploring YouTube because that seems like solid entertainment. My next
blog will be relating that experience..........

Learning to use flic'fr

Just put some pictures on flick'r. Made a mistake and said it was taken during a vacation in Arizona, however upon reviewing my vacation pictures I found the pictures were taken during a vacation in the Boston Area. At any rate it was a fun time and good to add to my memory list.
Maybe someone else will review them and recognize me. I've been to a lot of countries outside of the US also, so I will have to add some of those pictures to my Flick'r space.
